Indoor Small Cell Solutions

OPTIMISED MULTI OPERATOR INDOOR COVERAGE AND CAPACITY RELIEVING THE STRAIN ON EXISTING MNO MACRO CELLS

Designed specifically to solve 4G and 5G indoor mobile coverage problems by dramatically improving network efficiency providing faster speeds and a more reliable, higher quality service.

Dense Air’s indoor small cell solution operates as a neutral host. We also support traditional “DAS Style” in building coverage, using traditionally wired backhaul to provide super high capacity solutions, especially when private LTE or private 5G coverage is required.

Outdoor Small Cell Solutions

INNOVATIVE NEW BACKHAUL SOLUTION, BASED ON LTE RELAY

These small cells can be deployed on new or existing street furniture, and in rural areas onto existing or new wooden Telephone or Power poles. These solutions deliver 4G eNB and 5G gNB for access, and high-performance UE Relay or mmWave Mesh for backhaul.

Instead of connecting to the Core network (EPC) via wireline backhaul, the eNBs and later gNBs are connected directly to the UE relay or mmWave Mesh, and the UE Relay is connected via a standard LTE wireless connection to the Donor eNB.

INNOVATIVE WIRELESS BACKHAUL

DENSE AIR UTILISE AIRSPAN’S INNOVATIVE BACKHAUL SOLUTIONS  

Our small cell deployment is supported by two unique backhaul technologies. iRelay is based on state-of-the-art LTE UE chipsets providing enhanced uplink and downlink performance, with up to 8 receivers, 4 transmitters, uplink MIMO and uplink carrier aggregation. This ensures that iRelay can provide significantly improved performance and spectral efficiency compared to current UE’s on the network,  further improving the overall ‘Relay Gain’ of the network.

AIRSPAN’S iBRIDGE mmWAVE MESH TECHNOLOGY ENABLES MULTI-GBIT/S FIBRE CONNECTIVITY TO BE EXTENDED WIRELESSLY, IN BOTH URBAN AND RURAL LOCATIONS

The technology operates in both unlicensed and licensed V-BAND and E-BAND frequencies. The wide bandwidths available in the mmWave frequency bands enable solutions to provide 1Gbps to 5Gbps bi-directional throughputs, and <100 micro second one-way latencies. This power’s the Dense Air Wireless Fibre Extension (WFE) service and enables it to deliver fibre equivalent services using 2.x and 3.x GHz licensed bands or directly using mmWave for access.
